Last week was my 2nd favourite of this year so far. It was my week with my gorgeous boy. Just the two of us. Here is what we got up to…
Day 43 – Adventurers – We went for a walk at our favourite local spot, Trentham Gardens, I drank coffee, Lil G demanded an ice cream despite the need for tights and boots! I’m sure kids don’t feel the cold the same.
Day 44 – Chef George! – We made a scrummy mac & cheese for daddy with a crusty topping
Day 45 – Spidy does Crafts – We made Wooden Spoon Characters on Tuesday, Mummy, Daddy and George of course (all dressed as Spidy, we spent most of the week either Spidy, Batman or a Pirate!)
Day 46 – Painters – We went to a gardening class and made a Pirate Plant Pot, we potted a little flower, painted our pot, popped an eye mask on and of course finished it off with a parrot! Such fun
Day 47 – Builders – We ventured out to the National Forest Adventure Farm in Burton on Trent where we took part in breaking the Guinness World Record of the number of Scarecrows in one place. We made numbers 3318 and 3319. Lil G was very proud and oddly had the same hairstyle as our little helped Will!
Day 48 – Movie buffs – Lil G’s favourite film is Toy Story and when I found out that it was showing on the big screen as part of KidsAM I couldn’t help but take him along. He absolutely loved seeing Buzz & Woody on the big screen. Only two other families were in the cinema hence the straddling of seats!
Day 49 – Breakfast buddies – As a little treat for being such a beautiful boy all week and to round off our time together we headed out for breakfast on Saturday morning. A lovely way to round off our week before Daddy rudely interrupted. Of course I don’t mean that!
