I trust you all had a magical Christmas? We certainly did and thanks to some unplanned British weather Lil G’s wish came true. A white Christmas, albeit a day and night late but it came. Here in Staffordshire it snowed on Boxing Day night from 5pm until late. Our house overlooks this beautiful ‘marsh’ as it is called, we couldn’t quite resist wrapping up, popping on our wellies and taking the sledge out for its first outing of 2014. We are so glad we did as by midday the following day the snow had almost washed away.

Oh no, rain 😦 boo hoo to that. Christmas Day was rain for us.Today has been stunning, snowing under foot, frost and a blue sky!

Beautiful, I love watching falling snow and it came down thick and fast here. Although the drive home from my Aunties on Boxing Day night was a bit scary! xx

I know what you mean, we actually have two now so that we are prepared. A traditional sledge and a stand up one which we used this year and the snow wasn’t quite thick enough. G loved standing up on it 🙂
