Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

These 4-ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies, are sooooo delicious. Yummy scrummy indeed. I first found the recipe over on Gimme Some Oven which you must pop over to, as there are some really fantastic recipes. If I’m honest I couldn’t quite believe how easy they were to make. Could something so delicious be 1) made with only 4 ingredients and 2) so easy to make? Yes and Yes!

And here they are…

Let’s Bake…

Ingredients (makes 15 cookies)

  • 1 cup of Caster Sugar
  • 1 cup of smooth Peanut Butter (small jar)
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips (1/2 for decorating)
  • 1 large egg

  • Bowl to mix
  • Electric mixer or strong spoon
  • Baking trays
  • Grease proof paper
  • Pre-heat over to 200 degrees
  • Wooden spoon and spatula

  1. Pre-heat oven to 175 degrees
  2. Mix the egg, sugar, peanut butter and chocolate chips together until smooth
  3. With a tablespoon (as a size guide) form dough balls
  4. Roll in sugar if desired and place onto a baking tray at least 2 inches apart (we did the rolling)
  5. Flatten slightly with your hand or a spatula (spatula was my preference)
  6. Place a few extra chocolate chips on top of each cookie for decoration
  7. Bake for 6-8 minutes
  8. When you pull them out they should still look a little gooey, after a few minutes they will start to firm up, remove and pop onto a cooling rack. If your oven is pre-heated do NOT over bake
  9. Delicious served with milk or a cup of tea
  10. Enjoy

See below for pictures to guide you through the process…
