Quite simply it was all about THE email this week. The one advising us that Lil G had been awarded a place at our first choice of primary School. I am already looking forward to my sleep tonight (that would be last night for you!). Nearly three weeks of broken sleep has caught up on me!

Watched

I am really enjoying watching Critical on Sky1HD. It’s gory but really good. If you haven’t yet seen it then I would highly recommend. I have to confess to watching not a lot else. Does Friends count?

Ooh actually, Lil G has really enjoyed riding on his Balance Bike. It’s only been sitting there for 2 years…

Wore

This bit is always fun… A little bit of leopard for our Saturday drinking with Mr H and friends. And then a little blue/grey in my hair. Rather than the white, I’m looking at mixing it up a little bit.

These few songs on repeat. Mr H is still building my playlist for me. I do love Spotify.

Made

Use of our time Just Us and drank far too many cocktails! The last time we spent the day together was 3-months ago. I’m starting to really enjoy this tradition. Porn-Star Martinis have always been my favourite but recently I have taken to an Espresso Martini. The downside that they kept me awake until 4.30am. Eek

And lastly…

I am really enjoying my fitness at the moment. I do hope it continues as I feel so much more positive about my body. I have a few more pounds to lose before I’ll be truly happy but the training is definitely having an impact.

Today I had to go shopping for new work clothes as I start a new job on Monday. Eek. I took in two sizes of everything into the changing room. I was delighted when the smaller size fitted me with breathing space. Yes.

  6. Wow, it’s certainly been a week and a half for you. Thank goodness your test results came back clear and huge congratulations on getting Lil G into your first choice school, I can’t believe that will be us next year.

  12. It’s such a relief to finally get the school place news isn’t it? Hope you managed a good nights sleep last night.
    Well done on your fitness and weight loss! I’ve totally fallen of the wagon with mine. Planning on hitting in hard from Monday though, I’ve only got a few weeks until I’m in France with the family!
