For The Love Of Shoes {KA Loves}

Welcome to this week’s KA Loves post.

How many pairs of shoes do you have? Are you like me and pop all your shoes away in their relevant box with the labels facing you? No, just me then. Oops.

With our little holiday to Pembrokeshire just around the corner, and then our trip to Disney Land Paris for Lil G’s 4th Birthday, I found myself digging through the many boxes of shoes in my dressing room in search of my summer footwear. It is that time of year where I find myself circling the shops and browsing magazines in an attempt to seek out the hot new trends and the latest must have shoes in preparation for Summer. Ballerina pumps, lace-up sandals, brogues and open toe heels are my summer must haves.

Do you have any must haves? A summer shoe you return to year on year? For me, it’s the gladiator sandal.

The hot new trends for SS15 are loafers (in pastel shades, yay for that), lace-up sandals (I now have three pairs) and the old faithful; a gladiator sandal with a slight twist on recent years. Metallics and Prints are a must this year. What’s not to love? And lets not forget the sweet looking Jellie shoes. I am yet to purchase a pair although I have seen these gorgeous peach ones. There may be a theme developing around colour! Can you tell I love peach?

It’s all about the finishing touch when putting an outfit together. For me, shoes do just that. They are my kind of statement necklace. They have the ability to dress up or down an outfit, magic! Ta da.

Whether neutral tones to compliment an outfit or a statement lace-up sandal to add a bit of wow. I LOVE Shoes. If only I had a Carrie Bradshaw closet to show them off in, all would be well in the world. My addiction would be proudly For now I can dream!
