For those of you that read my blog or follow my Instagram feed you will know that I am what some would call a photo enthusiast. With Fathers Day fast approaching I was delighted when Snapfish offered me an opportunity to review some of their personalised photo gifts for Mr H. We do love Mr H and what better way to say thank you for being THE best daddy than some photo gifts of him being just that. Super Dad.

I am a huge fan of the website Snapfish, we have printed many photo’s from this site over the years. We have always been impressed with how easy it is to upload the individual items and the quality of the prints. From personal experience the quality is always at it’s best when using original photo’s rather than ones you have processed through an app of some kind. You can read my previous review here.

Lil G and I sat down and looked through the many gifts available and here is what we chose…

Collage Travel Mug : £14.99 : 16oz travel mug, screw top lid with a convenient carry handle and drinking port. Customise with up to 15 photos. The mug is a great size and a really cute idea for a Daddy who is on the road and currently drinks out of my pink travel mug! We were a little disappointed with the quality of the photo’s. They are grainy, some of the quality has definitely been lost on printing.

Notebooks : £5.99 :  We chose the 6-photo collage book. You have a choice of lined or plain paper. Such great quality. The images look superb and as the book is spiral bound it feels sturdy. Mr H is a huge planner and note taker so this book is perfect for our little trip to Disney Land Paris in June. Let the planning commence.

The Perfect Card : £2.49 : The You’re My Hero fathers day card was the perfect choice for Mr H. Both him and Lil G are huge super hero fans and as cheesy as it sounds he is Lil G’s hero. He’s mine too actually. I LOVE this card. The image is crystal clear and the colour is so bright and vibrant. I also love that you have the option to pop an additional photo on the back of the card as well as personalising the inside. The boys have a favourite story ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ therefore I added the words in to make it extra special.

Photo Mugs : £12.99 : Mr H is a huge tea drinker so we decided to add the larger mug to our order. We opted for the 15oz mug. There are many choices when personalising your mug; background colours, a message and up to 10 photos. As with the travel mug we were disappointed with the quality of the photo’s. They just seem to have lost some clarity yet when printed on the notebook and card they haven’t.

And lastly…

A fridge magnet : £2.99 : We love to collect fridge magnets. We have done so for many years. As we had tried the photo magnet previously we thought we would try the acrylic magnet this time round. Very impressive. I picked a photo from our recent holiday to Wales which I know is one of Mr H’s favourites. It looks well on our fridge. I like the idea of making a little collection of these, a little collage of our favourite photo’s from a birthday or a holiday.

You can find the Snapfish team on hand to answer your questions on TwitterFacebook and Google+. They have some great help tools if you are looking to make something a little different. Good luck!

If you do order something then share your pictures with me. I would love to see your creations.
