Welcome to this week’s My Sunday Photo post.
I love stumbling across a peaceful spot. We visited Trentham Gardens yesterday and it was so lovely to see the Italian Gardens in full bloom. As we made our way out we found ourselves wandering down this rather beautiful walkway. What made it even more beautiful was that it was lined with flowers. Such vibrant colours which left me feeling rather dreamy. Mr H still doesn’t quite understand why I love them so but they do make me smile.

Welcome to this week’s #MySundayPhoto post.
Last Sunday we took ourselves off to Trentham Gardens however we took a different route. I’d heard that there was a beautiful display of tulips hiding away and I took my boys in search of them. The made the perfect backdrop for a few family shots and of Lil G of course.
For now I leave you with this one…
Welcome to this weeks My Sunday Photo. Allow me to introduce you to Wishes…
For those that are regular readers of my blog you’ll know that we live very close to the stunning Trentham Gardens. We hold annual passes as it is just such a great place to visit. Whether for the day or just an hour.
When we visited last weekend I simply couldn’t resist taking a photo of this stunning statue. Wishes. She looked so life-like as the wind blew. As part of the lakeside walks you can also find the fairies. These fairies are hand crafted from galvanised steel wires. Robin Wight of Fantasy Wire is a local artist. Such a talented fella. There are often queues of people trying to capture Wishes!
I just love how her hair is blowing in the wind. So much detail. So much talent. I’d quite like one in my garden!

This photo was taken on a last minute trip out to Trentham Gardens. There is so much colour finding it’s way into the gardens now but with the Yellow Sea and Blue Sky this was my favourite spot.
Such a beautiful blue sky has appeared this morning which if I’m honest is completely unexpected. The weather forecast all week has been for a horrible rain cloud to sit above us. We may just be making our way back to the gardens for a little stroll! Most definitely our go to place here in Staffordshire.
Do you have a go to place which is local to you?
Have a lovely Sunday folks wherever you are.
You may have noticed from my Instagram feed and Facebook page that we have been on our Easter Holibobs this week. We have had a pretty dreamy week together and no more so than on this day when we visited the beach. We absolutely love the beach and always find ourselves heading to the same one each time. Lytham St Annes.
I still can’t quite decide which of these photo’s is my favourite. The 1st one is thoughtful and poised, the second is playful and fun! I love how sharp the second one is given that he was moving!
Which one is your favourite?

This was taken yesterday. We ventured out to a park which we wouldn’t normally visit as Lil G often goes with his Kindergarten group. However on his request we took teddy Roo on an adventure to see the water fountains. Lil G absolutely loves them. Completely mesmorised by how the spray from the fountains changes direction. He couldn’t quite understand why. I had to explain this is because of the wind. His response … that’s a super fact mummy, I’m going to tell Dan (one of his Kindy teachers).
Such a peaceful view minutes listening to the spray falling on to the lake. I love how the blue sky is trying it’s best to break through the cloud. Thankfully it did.

As I made my way through Manchester on Thursday evening I thought I would take a different route. I am glad that I did. This was the stunning view I stumbled upon. I couldn’t help but stop a take a few snaps.

These last two days have, dare I say it felt like Spring. Such a difference in the weather here in Staffordshire. Temperatures above 10 degrees, as high as 15 on Saturday. T-shirt weather it was. A clear blue sky. It has been so beautiful. There is something so magical about the sun shining. It really does lift the mood. I truly believe the sun and a clear blue sky is good for the soul.
Officially we have another 19 days to wait until the official date of Spring arriving. However on a little walk around Trentham Gardens yesterday we couldn’t help but notice a flash of colour appearing. These pretty little Snowdrops were Lil G’s favourite and I was instructed to ‘Take a picture mummy’.
Here they are…
There is something rather magical about a blue sky and a country walk. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it certainly does make me smile. Such a contrast to today’s grey sky that’s for sure. This photo was taken at the beautiful Trentham Gardens yesterday. We are so lucky to have this open space on our doorstep. I am not quite sure what we would do without our annual passes.
